1820-1826 N. Humboldt Boulevard
Four colorful, detailed frame houses stand out among the greystone facades near the South end of Humboldt Boulevard. Each of these has a different design, all clearly Victorian with their asymmetrical facades, steeply pitched roofs, and distinctive "gingerbread" trim. Adorned today with the bright colors typical of the era, they are referred to as The Painted Ladies.
